Rotary Computer Centre has been provided with a dust free environment. It has vinyl flooring and the computer tables were provided with draw-out key board trays. The children have been provided with comfortable arm chairs.
The furniture were carefully designed with wooden plank and steel legs. The furniture are sturdy and with lot of comfort. The desks are with book shlves.
Rtn.PP.Dan Branson (the USA) was the Chief Guest and Rtn.PDG. M.Natarajan dedicated the project to the school Children. PDG. Puru graced the occassion. In the picture Rtn Dan Branson is handing over the furniture to the children.
ROTARY COMPUTER CENTRE was dedicated to the poor girl students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Tiruchengode. The Cost of the Project was $ 17,500 (Rs. 8,22,500). The project provided a Computer Centre with 18 computers along with UPS and 170 sets of bench and desk. Rotary Club of Tiruchengode(Ri Dist 2980, India) and Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly (RI Dist 9630, Australia) accomplished the project with the help of The Rotary Foundation under the Matching Grant (number 62356).
